* CycloBatch daily capacity based on a 20-hour-a-day operation
Specific design for BSL 4 containment and ATEX requirements
Features
- Effluent BSL: 1-2-3-4
- Capacity: Up to 4,200 gallons per day
- Technology: Batch
- Utility: Steam
Decontamination
- Heat treatment with F0 from 25 to 50 depending on the required safety levels
- Standard set 275°F – 2 minutes, adjustable according to specifications
- Compliance with the highest requirements for containment BSL 3 – BSL 4 / SIL 3
- Guaranteed effluent decontamination with tangential steam injection which creates cyclone agitation within the kill tank, thus allowing faster and uniform heating for a core treatment
- Possible redundancy with 2 kill tanks
- Ensured containment of contaminated effluent with strictest safety devices
- Particularly suitable for the treatment of effluent containing particles or having a variable viscosity
- Easy validation of the batch treatment
- Pressure generated by steam avoids any risk of recontamination of the treated product
Design
- Patented system
- Gravity filling and gravity drainage to avoid any use of pumps that may be sources of leakage and maximize containment
- No vent filter on the kill tank
- Injection system equipped with SilentBlock technology
- Cooling outside the kill tank
- Drainage by pressure generated during the heating cycle
- Tangential steam injection heating
Advantages
- Reliability
- Homogeneity of treatment thanks to the tangential injection of steam
- No risk of clogging of the vent filters
- No risk of leakage (no pump)
- No risk of recontamination of the treated product by maintaining the contaminated effluent under pressure
- Budget
- Optimized investment cost
- Reduced heating time
- Optimal energy efficiency (energy consumption reduced by 23%)
- Reduced maintenance
- Benefits
- Quiet operation thanks to the tangential injection (75 dBA vs. 100 dBA for classic batch systems)
- No heat stress for the treatment tank: heating time reduced by 23% since the product is not cooled in the kill tank which remains always hot
Main options
- Storage tank if not supplied by the Customer
- Pumping skid
- Venturi pump
- Steam generator
- Extra Cyclobatch
- Extra cooling by tubular exchanger
- CIP skid
